The comment quickly drew attention online, with many viewers congratulating the couple after the broadcast.
The following day, Kim shared a longer message on social media as she reflected on both her victory and the journey that led her there.
She went on to thank everyone who supported her, adding that her parents and neighbors back in her hometown would probably be celebrating after seeing her compete on TV and win.
If people heard that someone like me, who grew up in the countryside, ended up competing on a survival show, appearing on TV, and even winning, my parents and everyone back home would probably say it’s something worth celebrating. I’m sincerely grateful to everyone who supported me.
To my partner and wife, who stayed up with me through this entire journey, thank you for all your hard work. I love you.
