“Nation’s Little Sister” Actress Suddenly Gets Married — Without Telling Her Friends


It was belatedly revealed.

Moon Geun Young, often dubbed “The Nation’s Little Sister”, recently married her longtime boyfriend, actor Jeong Pyeong.

According to an exclusive report from News1, Moon Geun Young recently got married to Jeong Pyeong, her longtime boyfriend, in a private ceremony. The two grew close as fellow actors, but kept their relationship a secret, with friends and acquaintances not even knowing of their relationship. Their wedding was a small gathering with only their families and they did not even announce their wedding to those around them.

Jeong Pyeong is a musical and theater actor seven years older. He debuted in 2007 and the two have previously worked together in Moon Geun Young’s directorial debut in her indie film Bachi: Come to my Dream.

Moon Geun Young is often called “The Nation’s Little Sister” as she began her acting career as a child actress in 1999, making a name for herself as the younger version of Song Hye Kyo’s character in Autumn in my Heart. She also is well known for her role in horror film A Tale of Two Sisters and My Little Bride.
