According to an official announcement by JYP Entertainment, ITZY member Yuna will be sitting out upcoming fan events in China due to serious health complications.
On July 30 KST, JYP Entertainment published a notice informing fans that Yuna will not take part in the fansign event marking the release of ITZY’s 12th mini album, Motto, which is scheduled to take place in Shenzhen, China, on August 1 and 2. The agency mentioned that the idol had received an inflammation diagnosis after suffering a high fever. Ultimately, she had to be hospitalized to be treated.

After the news broke, ITZY member Yeji reassured fans about Yuna’s condition during a live broadcast, mentioning that she was being well taken care of and is focusing on her recovery.

However, an eyewitness who allegedly saw Yuna before JYP Entertainment published the notice has left fans worried about Yuna’s condition. According to the witness, the idol appeared extremely weak, to the point that she needed support to stand.
