Amid this commotion, some fans were left worried when they realized that of BTS’s “Dynamite” and “Butter” performance videos at the Grammy Awards from previous years were suddenly removed from the Recording Academy’s website. Notably, those were the most viewed videos on the website.

This removal immediately sparked a speculation that it was done it retaliation to BTS’s boycott of the Grammy Awards, sparking some strong responses.

However, some later realized that it might not have been a targeted move against BTS, since all videos on the Academy’s website from 2021 and 2022 appeared to have been removed.

The Recording Academy has yet to clarify the reason behind the deletions.
