Last weekend, 2026 WATERBOMB Seoul took place, and proved itself to be one of the hottest events of the year. Many of the idols attending the event gained attention, both positive and negative, for their looks.
Usually, at the event, stars will be dressed in swimwear, lighter summer-ready clothing, or a mixture of both. However, a popular male idol has gone viral for his visuals, even while remaining fully clothed.
Since their debut, MONSTA X has had a masculine image, which only increased following their military enlistments.
Like other idols, the group’s members bulked up during their enlistments, becoming more muscular. One member who stunned many with his post-military visuals was Hyungwon, one of the group’s two visual position members (though he did that before as well).

Hyungwon performed at WATERBOMB alongside Shownu as their duo, Shownu X Hyungwon.
While Shownu went on stage in a skin exposing buckle-up vest, Hyungwon remained in a white t-shirt and pants.
Though the white shirt did not actually hide much, someone staying fully clothed at the event is a rare occasion.

Netizens commented on the idol’s physique contrasted with his visuals, praising his good looks.
